Darth Vader:
Fall to the Dark Side: Anakin Skywalker was seduced by the dark side of the Force due to fear, anger, and a desire for power. Manipulated by Emperor Palpatine (also known as Darth Sidious), Anakin turned against the Jedi Order and became Darth Vader.
Cybernetic Enhancements: After a lightsaber duel with Obi-Wan Kenobi on the volcanic planet of Mustafar, Anakin suffered severe injuries. He was left severely burned and maimed. The Emperor saved him by reconstructing his body with cybernetic enhancements, enclosing him in the iconic black armor and life-supporting suit that defines Darth Vader’s appearance.
